A Breathwork Workshop for Creative Creatures

Hosted by June Schreiner

Sunday, September 1st 3-4:30pm

Bushwick

$30

Using a simple, yet transformational three-part breathing pattern, June will guide you in exploring the vast and beautiful space inside the home of your body. By opening up the ribcage from the inside, you will stir sensations across the physical, emotional, and maybe even spiritual realms. It is an amazing tool for working through anxiety, self-doubt, grief, and dissociation. If nothing else, you will feel lighter on the other side.

Many find themselves touched by deep relief, sparked with inspiration, and profoundly connected to their innermost selves and their innate creativity. We will reinforce this creative connection with some gentle journaling after the breathwork exercise.

Each time you enter the ribcage, you can expect a different journey. You can rest assured you will feel safe to dive deep in the container that June provides. Bring comfy clothes, a journal and any totem you would like to bring with you on your journey inside.

June is a certified yogi, a transformational breathwork teacher, a seasoned actor, and a devotee to the quiet joy of arts and crafts. She began her own breathwork journey while struggling with a real health crisis that resulted in her having to get her top right rib surgically removed. Since then, it has been an essential tool for her in working through creative projects, tremendous loss, and the daily stress of living in this modern world. She is so excited to share this practice with you.

“After doing two sessions of transformative breathwork I can honestly say I was transformed. I went into each session with some form of anxiety and brain fog and just overall feelings of being stuck. I left both sessions feeling free and like I was floating.” -Ella F

“I could quite literally feel weight being lifted off my chest and with each exhale if felt as if some of the stale air was getting released from my lungs” - Anisa D

“I felt like I was on xanax and adderall at the same time” -Andrew O
