Fall Art Series: Embodying Your Practice
Hosted by Natalya & Daya Family
Saturday, August 24th 6-8pm
Daya Ridgewood
What shapes do your spiritual practices take?
Do you lean towards traditional ways of honoring the Divine -- prayer, meditation, scripture, song?
Or does it take alternative forms -- a call from an old friend, the birds’ songs on your morning walk, doing your dishes, biting into a juicy apple fresh off the tree?
How can you find spirituality in the mundane? What does it look like? Can you see it/taste it/feel it?
What does embodiment of Spirit look like?
SEEKING ARTISTS & CREATIVES:
How to Participate—
We are welcoming artists of all mediums to partake in this experience -- visual art, performance, soundscapes, drag, poetry, and more...
Each show has a theme & there will be a post each month sharing the inspiration behind them, aesthetic vision, and philosophical goals. But like art, we are everchanging and so are our dreams. If you feel called to a certain theme, please share your creations in whatever form it may be.
You may submit via google form linked below. Three submissions per form submitted. You can submit to a single show or multiple. Each piece must have a written creative piece linking it to that show’s vision.
PLEASE NOTE: submission deadlines are listed in form.
