Thai Yoga Massage Workshop with Ben Durning

In this workshop you will explore the highly therapeutic method of Thai Yoga Massage. Participants will learn the basis for incorporating and maintaining a therapeutic bodywork practice. You will come away with an understanding of pressing and stretching techniques, the body's energetic system, and how Thai Massage enhances the flow of  Qi/Prana (energy), improves mental focus, mobility and flexibility. Thai Massage is complementary to a regular yoga or exercise routine and acts directly on connective tissue to ease restrictions, stiffness and heal injuries.

As with all styles of Yoga and Massage, emphasis is placed on mindful breathing, contemplative, self inquiry and finding balance. Learn how and when to safely apply Thai massage to your regular wellness practices. This class is recommended for any and all who wish to:

-Release deep tension

-Resolve myofascial restrictions known as knots

-Find mental focus, clarity and balance.
