Please join us for this new workshop, Metamorphic Minds: embodying mindfulness, where we will collectively explore the 9 attitudes of mindfulness through cannabis, creativity and movement.

In this workshop, we will:

- explore the use of cannabis through the 9 attitudes of mindfulness as outlined by Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

- experience the intersections of breathwork, somatic movement, and creativity

- reflect on the role of mindfulness in personal/collective healing through a transformative justice lens

Each ticket will come with one joint for optional use at the workshop.

This is a collaboration between Queering Existentialism, Mindful Manifestations, and Glo Liu. Gina Mostafa, MPH is the founder of @queering_existentialism, an education and connection initiative based in NYC focused on accessible pathways to communal secure attachment, including healing-centered harm reduction, non-violent communication, altered states, segguality and transformative justice. They are a MBSR program graduate who focused on mindfulness as a mental health intervention in their public health research. Miriam Kagan, LCAT operates her private practice, @mindful.manifestations.mk, out of Brooklyn, NY as a Creative-Arts Psychedelic Therapist. Specializing in trauma-informed care, visualization, and somatic mindfulness, Miriam guides clients on their journeys to recovery and creative exploration. Glo Liu (@_afterglo_) will be facilitating the warm up and yoga movement part of the workshop. She is a yoga teacher, Thai bodywork practitioner, and acupuncture student at Pacific College of Health and Sciences. She was drawn towards healing work from her own long journey with chronic pain and illness, and is passionate about helping others reconnect with their bodies and find a sense of ease and wholeness again.

This event is sponsored by Flamer (@heyflamer) a local cannabis & Life style brand that will provide goodies for the event
