Learn about how to add more green into your life and support urban ecology in this 2-hour workshop. We will meet at Daya Bushwick and take a brief tour of our neighborhood, stopping to talk about the history of urban gardens, street tree pits, and plants along the way to El Garden Bushwick (120 Jefferson Street). Once there everyone will have the opportunity to get their hands dirty. We will make wildflower seed bombs to spread around the neighborhood and everyone will have an opportunity to plant herb seeds in pots to bring home.
