Healing Through Trance and Ecstasy // April 16th - Oihana, Fanny & Yuj

Healing through trance and ecstasy is a gentle yet powerful and transformative workshop that invites participants to explore the healing potential of ecstatic trance postures and mindful movement. The workshop will end with an enchanting soundscape journey. This workshop is designed for anyone who is looking to deepen their connection with themselves, their emotions, and the world around them.

Our goal is to demystify the concepts of trance and ecstasy and bring them into our lives to unlock our full potential. We invite you to join us in this journey where you will open the doors to other dimensions using just your body, mind and soul.

Facilitators:

Fanny studies different mechanisms of trance and ecstasy, the non-locality of consciousness as well as the role that emotions take in manifestation. She trained with the Cuyamungue Institute to facilitate Ritual Body Postures, the practice she will offer in this workshop. The practice of ecstatic trance postures is a method to reach altered states of consciousness for healing, journeying, shape-shifting, and connecting to the universal mind that is mediated by body postures. The postures adopted in this practice are shown in selected pre-historic and indigenous artifacts and are explained as ritual instructions by linguist and anthropologist Felicitas Goodman.

Oihana is an interpretative dancer, catalyst of creativity, visionary and healing artist. With a background in acting, contemporary circus and dance, she blended her academic knowledge with her spirituality and life experiences to co-create SEER Dance/Movement (Sacred Earth Embodied Ritual Dance/Movement), a dance form with the sacred roots of Belly Dance as its foundations, inspired by nature's elements and interwoven with energetic work, journeying, storytelling and embodied prayer. Her mission is to guide people who are seeking to tap into their bodies, their power and magic using art as a healing tool.

Yuj is a multidisciplinary musician and somatic artist. He has trained his voice and musicality to create soundscape journeys. A way to connect with the mind and body through the medicinal and meditative qualities of vibrations.
